Pot Use Out of Control 'It Grows Everywhere'

Ever since more European countries have decided to classify marijuana in the same category as alcohol and other legal substances (Britain and Italy this week) the UN Office on Drugs and Crime has been very upset.

"Marijuana use worldwide is out of control because the plant grows everywhere, is in high demand and is considered by many to be harmless" the UN agency said.

Antonio Maria Costa is the executive director of the agency and points out that governments around the world generally have succeeded in containing use of heroin, cocaine and amphetamines, marijuana is a different story.

Why is it a different story? Costa answers, "It's out of control in supply because it's a weed; it grows everywhere. It's out of control in demand because it's erroneously considered a light drug".

Now if this natural plant that grows everywhere is now being considered a "light drug" by many countries...maybe because countries and citizens of the world aren't feeding into the UN's and other government's propaganda. This plant that has been growing here for thousands of years was never considered an "epidemic" till the last 100 years.

The UN estimates that there are 160 Million cannabis users in the world today.

Provide real studies showing that marijuana is a great danger to public health and society and then the governments might change theire minds...untill then toke up!
